PostPartum Hair And Skin Care With Panier des Sens

July 12, 2013

In the last year my hair and skin have gone through so many changes while my hormones have been sorting themselves out after pregnancy.

Some of the things I’ve encountered are:

-Dry/dull hair
-Excessive hair shedding
-Dryer skin than usual (I normally have combination  skin)
-Brittle fingernails and nail springs

A little while ago I came across a company that I thought looked good and after trying so many other brands I thought I would give them a try. So today I would like to talk about Panier des Sens.

“Panier des Sens products are of Southern French origin. Inspired by Mediterranean ingredients and expertise, our skin care line is formulated with natural, simple and authentic active substances and ingredients. By combining research and nature, we use the best that Provence has to offer to develop products with a soft texture and elegant fragrances.”

Body Lotion – Relaxing Lavender

Rich in soothing and antiseptic essential oil of lavender, this delicately perfumed body milk has been specially designed for most sensitive skin.

Containing Sweet Almond, Shea Butter, essential oils and natural active vegetable substances for a rich yet light formula. Smooth and melting, this body lotion softens and nourishes your skin.

My Thoughts

I think I’ve said it before, I’m not the hugest fan of lavender but this has such a sweet yet delicate smell to it that I actually love it.

I use it every night before bed and I’m sure the sent has been helping me get to sleep. My skin has become really soft with daily use and even my not so pretty pregnancy stretch marks are looking better.

Hand Cream – Soothing Provence

This delicately scented hand cream is the essence of Provence with the essential oils of lemon, artemisia and cypress. Thanks to its formulation with over 20% shea butter, this cream has an ultra-nourishing texture and is quickly absorbed leaving nothing but soft, supple skin, day after day.

My Thoughts

This hand cream is a real ‘must have’ in my book. It so moisturising with essential oils of lemon, artemisia and cypress it smells amazing!

My fingernails became really brittle and my nail beds were all dry with nail springs after having Amelia but there has been a great improvement. I’ve been using this for little over a week twice a day and with each use my hands and nails look and feel better.

Shampoo

Rich in organic olive oil with nourishing and antioxidant properties, this extra-gentle shampoo is suitable for frequent use. Formulated for dry and damaged hair, our mild and creamy shampoo restores the healthy look of the hair, leaving it full of shine and softness.

My Thoughts

I’ve been using this shampoo for two weeks now and my hair has improved dramatically. It  feel so much healthier and it’s super shiny all the time. I’m also happy to say that I think I’m nearly back to the normal amount of shedding women have with their hair.

I really love this shampoo and have been recommending it to so many people. Anything with olive oil in it has to good for you right!

Lip Balm

This honey lip balm draws its strength from the combination of an exclusive complex of apricot pit oil, shea butter, and honey extracts.

Ultra concentrated, this lip balm repairs, soothes, and protects dry or damaged lips.

My Thoughts

I’m a huge fan of lip balms and this one is definitely no exception. My lips have been terribly dry and sore lately but this AMAZING stuff had given my lips there suppleness back and they now have that ‘oh so soft’ feeling again.

This is going to be my go to lip balm from now on! Nothing has ever worked so well and so quickly.

Overall I love all of these products and I think they are some of the best, possibly even THE BEST products I’ve ever used.
