I can’t believe that your 4 months old today. Where has the time gone?? So much has changed over the time since you where born and you’ve become so different, your no longer a newborn but a baby yet to me you seem like such a little girl.
Over the last week you have been able to spend more time with daddy as he has been on holiday from work and you have loved it. You still want me for for the majority of the time but your more than happy to have cuddles and play time with daddy. No to mention how much you now love to spend time playing with your brother.
You now laugh so much, it’s just the best sound in the whole world. You love to be tickled and play peek-a-boo, they make to laugh the most bust sometimes I find you just laughing away at yourself and it’s just adorable. When your not laughing you smiling and boy do your smiles fill the room. I love to see you smile, it makes me happy to know that your happy and there is nothing better than seeing your nose crinkle up and your little mouth becomes the widest grin.
You’ve recently developed a new feeding position where you feeding sat upright on my lap facing me, you tend to cuddle me and keep your eyes on me the whole time and it just melts my heart to see you so content. You feeding less during the day now but a lot more at night, I thought you where having a weeks growth spurt but after the end of week three I think you just want to wake me up 5 – 7 times in the night to feed.
You have been trying to sit yourself up for a little while now and it’s so fun to watch, as you can’t sit right up it just looks like your doing sit-ups. Your little tummy muscles must be so strong!
We do a lot more tummy time now and your starting to love it, you love to hold yourself up and look around and you somehow manage to get from one end of your mat to the other in a matter of seconds. Your still not too bothered about rolling over but I have a feeling it’s going to come soon, if I place a toy to the side of you you really do try but just can’t quite get over yet.
You have really found your hands and thumbs over the last month and your ALWAYS chewing on them, everything goes to your mouth now, your blanket, your toys and my fingers. I can’t wait till you start trying to chew your toes, that will just be too cute!
Nappy change time has now become playtime, you grab your clothes and start hiding behind then then all of a sudden you giggle and pop back out with a huge smile, you really enjoy kicking at mummy’s hands and your favourite thing is raspberries, you laugh so much when I blow raspberries on your tummy.
Luke has started singing to you recently and you light up with smiles and sparkly eyes at him. It’s so sweet to watch, you especially like it when he sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Itsy Bitsy Spider.
