A few weeks ago we received an amazing toy from Little Birdie Told Me for Amelia. We held off giving it to her until her birthday as we didn’t want her birthday toys to take away from it and have her just forget about it.
We were sent the Softly Snail Activity Fun House which Amelia just loves. It is covered with so many activities and surprises. The snails antennae rattle and squeak and you can pull her along on her removable wooden wheels. Lift the roof to discover a hidden mirror and discover where Curious Caterpillar lives. You can even pop a photo behind the door to add a personal touch (we are going to use one of the photos from Amelia’s birthday in here for her).
Amelia loves her snail and also really like playing the the caterpillar inside. I can’t wait for when she starts walking by herself and pulls it around with her. She loves crawling around with the caterpillar in her mouth – it’s so cute!
About Little Birdie From The Mouths Of The Birdies Themselves
Little Bird Told Me consists of a team of nursery specialists who are dedicated to making the world of little people and grown-ups that little bit more special. The product ranges offer an exceptional choice of developmental activity toys, innovative infant rocking animals & horses and nursery accessories, all of which are presented in beautiful eco-friendly gift style packaging.
In an industry awash with electronic toys that almost control how a child should play, we see the beauty in simple traditionally based toys that have the ability to capture a child’s imagination and encourage explorative play. That’s why all of our products have carefully considered interactive features that stimulate and encourage free-play rather than dictate it.
Toys today seem to last only as long as a child’s attention span before they break or wear out! We believe in toys that are built to last. That’s why our toys are made to the highest quality. Not just for a few hours, but for years of fun!
We don’t claim to be holier than thou, but we do care about the environment we pass on to our children. Where we can, we use materials that can be easily recycled or are biodegradable. That’s why we have a ‘low tech’ approach with our products and why we don’t have electronics or battery powered functions. We make every effort to minimise the use of plastic packaging or plastic bags, favouring biodegradable cardboard and tissue paper. So where we can make a difference, we will.
We’re confident that we’ve created a range of toys that delight and stimulate children as well as providing exceptional quality and longevity. So in the end it’s not just the little people who will be happy, but the grown-ups too!

If you haven’t already then you should definitely go and check out their website, I’d head to the soft toys page first.
Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post. I was sent the Softly Snail Activity Fun House from Little Birdie Told Me for the purpose of this review (and Amelia). All opinions are 100% my own.
