When I was pregnant I remember looking at so many different pram/travel systems but nothing ever seemed right. They would either be too heavy to push, way too big for our car or just plain ugly. That’s why as soon as we found this, we snapped it up right away. We were lucky enough to see it the day we did as we got the car seat with it for free (which saved us £120).
Now we have started using it we love it. It’s so lightweight and easy to push. We love that it’s so padded and comfortable for Amelia, she falls asleep so easily in it. The basket underneath is a great size to store things we need to take with us but wont fit into our changing bag.
Here’s what we got:
– 3D chassis
– Hood
– Apron
– Pram liner with head support, chest pads, buckle pad
-Mattress
– Footmuff
– Rain cover
– Shopping Basket
– Car seat
Pros:
– Suitable from birth
– Converts to travel system
– Converts to forward facing pushchair
– Lightweight design with compact fold
– Free standing chassis
– Puncture free tyres
– Comfortable for baby
Cons:
– Can be hard to fold down
– Takes up lots of room when using (but I like that it’s big)
Here’s what Silver Cross have to say:
3D is the ultimate compact pram system. What does it do? 3D is a best seller and extremely popular with all mums. It’s a stylish and comfortable pram and pushchair combination and once you add the Ventura Plus car seat it becomes a complete travel system from birth to toddler. The rearward facing lie flat pram allows you to keep eye contact with your baby – however reverse it, and it becomes a forward facing, fully reclinable pushchair; perfect for when inquisitive eyes want to explore the big wide world.
