Book Review – Clifton Chase and the Arrow of Light By Jaimie M. Engle

November 30, 2013

Today I thought I’d share something a little different with you. A book! A book by the wonderfully talented Jaimie M. Engle non the less. Jamie has written and recently published an amazing fantasy/adventure book for children called Clifton Chase and the Arrow of Light.

The book is about a young boy whose magic arrow takes him back to the year 1485 in England. While there he meets a myriad of characters and he rescues the two nephews of King Richard III. After embarking on a journey to discover his purpose, he finds himself battling the king at the Battle of Bosworth Hill, the final battle of the War of the Roses.

Jamie was kind enough to send me a copy of Clifton Chase and the Arrow of Light and I have loved every moment of reading it. The book is such a fun read. It’s well written, it draws you in and plays on your imagination. I could (and more than likely will) read it over and over again. I think both of my children would love it and when I get a little more free time I will start reading it to them. My mum has also borrowed the book and she is now hooked!!
