Choosing the Perfect Antique Jewellery to Match Your Wardrobe

March 5, 2015

When it comes to making or breaking an outfit, the accessories can be one of the most important parts of any wardrobe. You could even think of the accessories as the icing on the cake or the bow on top of the present. Choosing the right accessory can accentuate any outfit, but you must make sure that what you choose suits the occasion. Of course, there are items of jewellery that are suitable for all occasions, but you also want some special pieces to add some sparkle for those special events.

Adding Some Sparkle to your Wardrobe

There comes a time when every woman needs a bit of pizzazz and sparkle in her wardrobe, for those high profile and special occasions. A pair of chandelier earrings or a rhinestone bracelet can be the perfect touch for a special occasion. If you can afford diamonds, then that is even better, they are, after all, a girl’s best friend!

A bit of sparkle is perfect for those formal occasions where you will be wearing a cocktail dress or something similar, and there is plenty of sparkle on offer at Kalmarantiques.com.au. Whether it is antique rings, earrings, bracelets or pendants, jewellery that sparkle can finish off your formal outfit perfectly.

Where ever it is that you are going you want the people at the event to be in awe of your dress and then blown away by your antique brooch or pendant. If you search around you can get bargains.

Everyday Jewellery for Your Wardrobe

For our everyday lives, it is not going to be appropriate to wear the same sort of jewellery that we would for special or formal occasions. If you turn up to work all sparkly and with diamonds, your boss may think that they are paying you too much!

Alternatively, what you need is something with a little less sparkle, but something that can still finish off an outfit nicely. You can still wear chandelier or drop earrings if these are your favourites, but you will need to make sure that you choose a pair that are smaller, and a little bit less ostentatious.

Ideally at work the perfect choice in earring would be studs or small hoops, as these tend to be a little less extravagant. Something that is a little bit plainer and fairly simple is usually the best choice in the work environment.

A simple and elegant style of jewellery is what is needed for the workplace especially if you work in a manufacturing setting, or one that involves the preparation or serving of food.

A Signature Piece of Jewellery

Most of us all have at least one signature piece of jewellery that we can wear in many different environments. A signature piece could be something simple like a necklace that you can hide when working, and out on show when we are getting ready to party or even a stylish ring. It can get to the point where if you are not wearing your signature piece of jewellery, it is almost like you feel naked. It does not have to be something that is plain and simple, especially if it is a necklace, as long as it is not too extravagant.

If you have nothing to match an outfit that you are planning to wear, then you can always go out and buy yourself some new antique jewellery for your jewellery box!
