Cocoa Loco Review

June 19, 2013

For those of you that read my Fathers Day post you will remember I mentioned that Luke and Amelia were sent some lovely gifts from Cocoa Loco to give to their daddy on his special day. Sarah and Rory, we can’t thank you enough…he loved them all!

Cocoa Loco have some many yummy treats that you will really be spoilt for choice. Everything they sell would make a wonderful gift or something nice for yourself…why not take a look at their Gift Boxes.

They make everything from Truffles, Bars and chocolate covered fruit and nuts plus they have lots of baking chocolate for the kitchen as well as jars filled to the brim with indulgent goodness.

The Cocoa Loco Story….So Far

To flee one’s job and do something more interesting is often considered but rarely acted upon. In the summer of 2005 a young couple called Sarah & Rory chose to do exactly this so packed up their PCs and followed their dream.

Their mission was sublimely simple, to bake joyous confections that melt in the mouth using entirely organic ingredients and fun packaging which would have a minimum impact on the environment.

Their baking would be made from love, their service second to none and their customers would become best buddies.

Years passed and the word spread. No longer would top-notch chocolate be about posh uptight brands in flouncy packaging. Cocoa Loco’s vision was to build a premium treat reputation around words like approachable, affordable and genuine choice.

Others were called upon to help. They attracted the most talented cooks, people who cared passionately about fine cooking, who smelt of chocolate and who dabbled in bold flavours and dreamy textures.

Soon the ‘award lords’ arrived at the Chocolate Barn bestowing gifts like The Times Organic hero award (2008), ‘the best producer in Sussex gong, and a hat full of Fine Food stars.

Success was assured and the red wine flowed.
