I’m the kind of person that’s obsessed with flicking through the pages of holiday brochures and looking at beautiful exotic destinations online.
Of course now that I’m a parent my holiday choices have had to change somewhat. Gone are the romantic holidays for two (at least till our children are older or we get married and go on our honeymoon).
So for now we all on board the ‘Family Friendly Holiday Destinations’ train. Looking at holiday destinations that we feel our children will enjoy and where they will also be safe.
Today I thought it would be nice to share some of the destinations that we have found.
Disneyland Paris or Disneyworld Florida
Of course I’ll start with the place I think all children (and even adults) should go to at least once in their lives. Where dreams are made and adventures are had and all your favourite Characters can be found.
There are always so many amazing deals for both Disneyland and Disneyworld such as ‘kids go free’, ‘extra days for no cost’, ‘free dining’ and many more and there’s such a wonderful choice of places to stay that all the family will love.
Center Parcs
You could stay in the UK and choose a beautiful woodland setting for your holiday. At Center Parcs you can share some real family time filled with bike rides, pottery painting, teddy bears picnic, treasure trails and much more.
Balearic Islands
For something a little more stylish and sophisticated, Cosmos operate in Majorca where you could have history, architecture, beautiful courtyards and beaches all while keeping your children by your side with Palma Nova being a wonderful destination for families.
Italy
How about somewhere you can take in breath-taking scenery, enjoy cookery lessons, bike rides, fun in the sun & local honey, olive oil and fresh raspberries all while making a new love for all things Italian.
Villa Pian Di Cascina can provide the perfect location for families with facilities such as indoor toys and books, bath toys, stairgate(s), children’s DVDs, enclosed gardens, pool barrier and more you know that your children can run around and have fun while you relax.
Where do you like to travel with your children and what ages are they? I’d love if you left a comment and will happily check out your recommendations.
