What We Thought

Tuesday afternoon at around 5pm I receive my package from Hello Fresh. Inside were 3 recipe cards, fresh meat, vegetables, herbs and sauces all ready to cook.

Day 1 – Citrus Salmon and Summer Salad

This was my favourite meal out of all three.  It was so quick and easy to make. Even Will liked it and he doesn’t normally eat Salmon and Luke kept asking for more of mine.

Day 2 – Chicken Chow Main With Oyster Sauce And Water Chestnuts

Such a yummy Chow Main. Will and Luke loved this one. It was super easy to make and Luke loved helping me get all the bits ready to cook. I can see us cooking this a lot in the future.

Day 3 – Rosemary And Thyme PorkWith Roasted Fennel And Baby Carrots

Great pork and carrots. The garlic became sweet and creamy while roasting which made it taste amazing. I’m not so keen of fennel but it was good.

We will definitely be making the recipes again. I would recommend Hello Fresh to everyone doesn’t have a lot of time to cook but still wants great meals and even people that want to get a bit more imaginative in the kitchen.
