I like to keep fit but I don’t have the time to go to the gym at the moment as our gym does’t have a childcare facility and I never know what time William will finish work to have them while I go (I’m hoping I can once Luke starts school and Amelia is in nursery) so for now I workout at home and do a lot of walking and jogging.
I wanted to let you know what my ‘home’ fitness essentials are and let you all know they are available from Sports Direct which I’m sure you’ll all know is high quality brands just al lower prices.
So my top 3 items for working out at home are:
A good Sports Bra
A good quality sports bra is essential for any female whether you have a large bust or not. I do have a large bust so I like and need something that will give me a lot of support so chose the USA Pro Medium Bra Top which is just £6.50 from Sports Direct yet has a RRP of £21.99 (that’s a massive saving right there!)
It’s ever so supportive and comfortable while giving a good silhouette under other clothing. I find a can go jogging, do skipping, sit-ups, knee-ups and more while feeling totally supported and not giving myself black eyes.
A good pair of bottom
For bottoms I have the Nike Capri Tights which are great for all kinds of workouts you can do from home as well as running and things like yoga.
I really love these, they are super comfy and give such a great shape and lift to the butt area. They look so good and unlike workout wear that I find myself wearing them a little too often. Oh and these are £22.99 (with a usual RRP of £27.99).
Hand Weights
I have The USA Pro Hand Weights which are perfect for toning your arms during workouts. I have the heaviest of the weights available which are 2.5kg and cost £5.99 each (normal RRP £11.99 each).
So I hope that gave you a little insight to what I use at home to wear and workout. Let me know what you wear and use to exercise from home.
In collaboration with Sports Direct.

This is a really good post! I started going to the gym a month ago but also like to workout at home, for some reason it didn’t cross my mind to buy some weights :/ Will do now though. x
I’m really into fitness and I like that you have kept this post simple and not included too many things the people really don’t need to keep fit. Hannah J xx
