January 2015 Favourites

January 30, 2015

Ok guys, here we are already at the end of January 2015, this month has just flown by and I don’t know how I have managed to keep up.

One of my goals for 2015 was to keep up with monthly favourite posts and or videos (as another goal is to make videos and actually put them on YouTube!)

January 2015 Favourites

So starting off with the first monthly favourites of the year I have decided to choose just one item for a number of categories (which has been pretty hard to do if I must say so myself).

Anyway, enough said…lets jump right into my January 2015 Favourites!! Sorry but there may be a lot of photos..ENJOY!

Makeup: Tarte Amazonion Clay Foundation – I have actually loved this for a while and written a blog post on it if you want to check it out you can here. I started using this again over the holidays and have fallen deeply in love with it once again. I love how smooth and flawless it makes my skin look and the colour match is just perfect. It stays all day long and doesn’t start going patchy and it makes me feel beautiful when I wear it which is always a huge plus right?!

January 2015 Favourites

Skincare: Clarins Double Serum – “The only intensive anti-ageing treatment rich in 20 plant extracts that boosts the skin’s vital functions” I used the Clarins Double Serum all through November and loved it. I then moved on out try out some others through the end of December but in the past few weeks I have gone back to the Clarins Double Serum as I actually missed using it. It makes my skin feel so soft, supple and hydrated without making my skin greasy or shiny. It fills out my fine lines and makes my pores looks pretty much invisible. I love the concept of this serum and how you essentially mix it as you use it (when pumping it out it pumps from two separate sections in the container).

January 2015 Favourites

Haircare: Tresemme Youth Boost Shampoo and Conditioner – Oh my god you guys, you know all about my hair story, I have told it many times in the past and well, it’s just about non-existent now. I have literally had no excess shedding since using these, my hair looks healthy and shiny and feel super soft and smooth. Plus it smells amazing! I really like to leave the conditioner on for a good half an hour and then rinse it off with water that’s a little hotter than I would generally use, I find this way makes my hair feel really great after.

January 2015 Favourites

Bath and Body: Yes to Blueberries Bodywash – If you love fruity scented bath products then just like me, you will love this. It smells just like real sweet ripe blueberries. It lathers up really nicely into creamy soft bubbles and cleans the skin while nourishing it with lots of added Shea Butter. I say Yes to this Blueberry Bodywash.

January 2015 Favourites

Book: Love Me or Leave Me – Such a great book that had me sucked into its pages from the moment I started reading it. Love Me or Leave Me has a very twist on the meaning and proceedings of divorce. It’s full of warmth, love and humours despite the subject it is centred around and is so captivating, intriguing and emotional. Definitely a book that would make a wonderful click flick movie! The wonderful Claudia Carroll has done an amazing job with this book!

January 2015 Favourites

Candle: JOIK Lemon Sorbet – This candle smells so amazing, it’s fresh, tangy and sweet all mixed into one and for me it’s the perfect candle for starting a New Year with.  The candle is nice and compact in a glass tumbler and has an impressive minimum burn-time of 30 hours. I would LOVE to find a perfume that smells like this…JOIK, you should make one.

January 2015 Favourites

Fitness Related: My Protein; Protein-chox Bars and Coconut Oil – As with many people I have been on the New Year health kick and these goodies from My Protein have been a wonderful extra to help me on my way. I have loved cooking with coconut oil for years now but have got into it much more this month and the My Protein Coconut Oil has been my go to because it’s 100% Certified Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, GMO Free and such a great price. If you like having protein bars as part of your diet then the My Protein Protein-Chox will be right up your street. Delicious chocolate with chewy goodness all bundled into a yummy bar with just 3.2g of saturated fat and a mega 22g of protein.

Person: Krystina from Pretty Shiny Sparkly – I think I have watched all of her videos like twice each over this month. It’s kind of easy to say I am a little obsessed with her at the moment. Krystina girl…YOU ROCK!! You should check out her fabulous blog and YouTube Channel too.
