Johanna naturals: Honey Face & Body Mask

Johanna Naturals was set up this year by husband and wife team John and Joanne Klasse, yet they already have a wonderfully large selection of products from face masks, cleansers, bath salts, soaps, hand & foot products and more.

They have recently kindly sent me their Honey Face & Body Mask along with some soaps to try out and I thought I would tell you a little about them.

The Honey Face & Body Mask is for Dry skin and contains Pink Clay which is used for dry or sensitive skin. It can be used to cleanse and detoxify the skin, remove dead skin cells and create and overall refreshed appearance. It also contains Banana extract which is rich in potassium, Vitamin A and skin-soothing properties.

First of all I want to point out that this mask smell amazing, I literally want to lick it off my fingers when I’m using it. It’s sweet like honey but also really fresh ajd has an almost lemon-y or eucalyptus-y scent to it but i’m not too sure. It’s lovely either way.

The texture is fairly thick and has a dark dusty rose/brown colour to it (which kind of scared me at first) but once it was on my skin I didn’t really care what colour it was.

I’ve only used this on face but it can be used on the body too which is pretty awesome. I left it on for a little longer than the suggested 10 – 15 minutes and my skin loved it. It didn’t dry my skin out but instead let it feeling nourished and smooth.

Priced at £14.95 it’s very reasonable and you get a great sized pot which will last a good amount of time. I’m going to be using mine once a week so it will last even longer but this is so gentle you could easily use it up to 3 times a week.

Now onto the soaps…we were sent 3 soaps from the 10 that they make and I LOVE THEM. I’m a pretty big fan of yummy smelling soaps and these are truly to die for. We have:

Lemon Crunch

Love the strong and invigorating lemon scent to this soap. It contains oatmeal and calendula petals which make it the perfect soap to use when giving your hands a little exfoliation.

Jojoba Oil

I like using things with Jojoba Oil in them as it has so many great skin benefits. Although the scent is not as strong as the others it’s still very beautiful.

Choco Orange

This smells just like Terry’s Chocolate Orange. It’s very indulgent.

One thing that is wonderful about all of these soaps is that none of the scents have that artificial smell to them. They all really do smell like the real deal! All soaps are £5 each for 100g.
