For many women a handbag is a very important fashion accessory and I have to admit that I’m one of them. I love me some bags!!
I feel handbags are important as they not only allow you to carry around all of your daily essentials but they also allow room for your makeup bag, sunglasses and things such an umbrella or bottle of water and in my case, a pretty large diary/notepad.
Growing up with an equestrian background I have always been a huge fan of Joules so when I received their Leycett Handbag my heart skipped a few beats and I fell instantly in love.
Let me start off by saying it’s much larger than I expected it to be but in this case, I am more than happy about it as I can fit in nappies, wipes and extra clothing for Amelia alongside all of my bits and pieces.
The next thing I want to mention is that you can tell the bag is QUALITY just from the amazing smell of leather (is it just me that loves it?) as well as how beautifully soft and supple the leather is. I could honestly sit stroking it for hours but don’t worry, I won’t. I’m not that mad!
As you can see, I have the Tan version of the bag. I love the beautiful contrasting French Navy on the strap and the one buckle, not to mention the gorgeous silky floral lining with it’s yellow background and statement flowers.
On close inspection you’ll notice how precise and perfect the stitching is (again with the quality). You’ll also find some beautiful little Joules logos such as their name and the ‘oh so familiar’ hare logo (which you also get a little adorable keyring of).
As I mentioned before, the bag is quite large and has a lets of lovely areas to store things. On the front there are two buckled pouches which have enough room to put things you want close to hand such as lip balms, your keys or a little compact mirror. On the inside you have a zipped area for keeping things safe such as loose change. There are also two other areas which I like to keep my wallet and phone (they fit perfectly) and then you have the main area which is very spacious and boast lots of room for everything else I like to carry (there is even room to spare).
The Joules Leycett Handbag has a price tag of £169.00 which I think for the sheer size and quality is more than reasonable. You can purchase the bag form the Joules website.
