Mother’s Day is now just round the corner so I want to share another wonderful little gift idea with you.
Like me, my mum loves hand creams and on top of that she loves roses so why not mix the two into this wonderful Rose Balm Intense for Very Dry Hands & Nails from Lanolips.
“Perfect for the Mum who loves to garden, or simply one whose hands are in need of a real treatment. The Rose Balm Intense for Very Dry Hands & Nails is based on Lanolips signature Ultra Pure Medical Grade Lanolin, with added shea butter, cocoa seed butter, wheat germ oil and other rich natural oils, to create a unique protective veil over the hands for continual nourishment”
First of all I just want to say I love the packaging – it’s pink and who doesn’t like a little bit of pink prettiness? It’s very sleek and slim which makes it perfect to carry out in your handbag for when your hands need that extra bit of love (just before a meeting perhaps).
The scent – it smells divine! A very delicate rose scent (from the rose oil) which is wonderful and not over powering in any way and also doesn’t have any of that strong lanolin smell that so other many products that contain it seem to have. (Some people say this smells like baby powder but I don’t think it does at all).
The cream – is really softening and nourishing. It absorbs very quickly into the skin without leaving any unwanted greasiness and residue. The added Vitamin E and Antioxidants sooth and protect the skin. The cream is a very pale pink in colour (so much better than just being white).
The Facts – 98% Naturally derived ingredients, no Parabens, Petroleum, Mineral Oils or Sulfates.
My daughter who’s not even 2 years old yet is a little obsessed with this. Every time she comes into my bedroom or sees me using it she asks for some and will sit so quietly while gently rubbing it into her little hands (it’s ever so cute to watch) got to start them young right!?
The Rose Balm Intense for Very Dry Hands & Nails is available from Victoria Health, Boots and selected Waitrose stores nationwide and priced at just £8.99 for 50ml.
PR Sample – my thoughts and opinions have not been swayed in anyway.
