London Tea Company Review

August 7, 2013

Ok, so as you know by now I love a good cuppa-tea. So today I want to share a company called The London Tea Company with you all.

“From a very small beginning in 2003, London Tea Company’s reach is now worldwide. In those early days our tea and infusion blends reflected some of our tastes, a sort of wish list of the things we’d like to drink produced in the natural and ethical way we wanted. The range has changed since then, but our principals have not!”

The Teas

Classic Range

Flavours that combine all the timeless elegance of old England. We source our black, green and white teas from some of the finest estates in Sri Lanka. These are the quality of teas that our grandparents reminisced about; high grade black and green tea leaves, hand-picked and no chemicals. Simply amazing, warming, traditional flavours.

Gourmet Range

Teas for a reason during any season…

Herbal Range

A little something for those discerning souls amongst us.

I have been lucky enough to try:

White Tea, Elderflower & Apricot – Created for your skin, white tea is lauded for its skin-enhancing properties. It’s made from the youngest buds of the tea plant and contains an unusually high amount of anti-oxidants which are exactly what you need to give your skin that youthful and supple appearance. Plus we’ve held all that goodness together with the delicious spring flavours of elderflower and apricot.

Peppermint, Spearmint & Strawberry – Created for health. Ever tasted peppermint with strawberry? Probably not and it is an admittedly rare concoction but it does also happen to be Delicious. Peppermint is known to be wonderful for your digestive system. It apparently works best after any meal and is meant to aid with embarrassing things like bloating but also helps relieve many other digestion problems. So if your stomach is in need of some TLC we suggest this very blend.

Green Tea, Mango & Ginger – Created for well-being, this seductive mix of organic green tea adds to your daily intake of anti-oxidants. It’s so deliciously gentle that you might even forget the incredible metabolism-enhancing properties.

My favorite has got to be hands down Peppermint, Spearmint & Strawberry…it’s so delicious, the taste really consumes you while you drink it with the yummy mint mixture with a hint of strawberry it really is the best!

White Tea, Elderflower & Apricot is also just as amazing. It has this lovely subtle apricot flavour and is super easy to drink. I just have to say that drinking this has done wonders for my skin.

Lastly, the Green Tea, Mango & Ginger – this really does pack in the punches with the green tea. I tend to drink this before a workout as it gives me so much energy.
