Hey guys! I’m back this week to share some of the workouts you can do on your Medicarn Eco Stability Series 400 Vibration Plate. So lets get stuck right in shall we..??
Plank
Place your hands shoulder width apart (fingers pointing forward) on the vibration plate. Push up onto your hands and feet till your body is in a straight line. Hold for 2-3 minutes rest for 1 minute and repeat for the rest of the 10 minute program.
This is a fair amount harder to do that a normal plank so don’t push yourself. If you can only hold the plank for 30 seconds at first then don’t worry. The more you do it the stronger you will become.
Push Up
Again you place your hands shoulder width apart (fingers pointing forward) on the vibration plate. Depending on your fitness level you can stay down on your knees or go up into a full push up position.
With the push up I tend to do 1.5 minutes on followed by 30 seconds rest and the repeat. This allows you to get a good 5 minutes of active push up time.
I love doing push ups on here. You can feel each of your muscles working (so much more than doing floor push ups). I also think they seem so much easier than usual.
Sit Up
Sit on the vibration plate in the same direction as you would stand on it. (with the back stand for the console between your knees) Place your hands where you feel most comfortable when doing sit ups, lean back to where you can balance and sit back up (using your stomach muscles you pull you up) and repeat.
When I first saw the Medicarn Eco Stability Series 400 Vibration Plate my first thought was ”how are you supposed to do sit ups on that?” but it’s actually much easier than you would have thought. They are really fun to do and you can feel it working really well while at the same time I seem to be able to do more on here that I can on the floor.
I find doing 50 sit ups and then resting for 20 seconds before I start again for another 50 sit ups works well! Repeat for the 10 minute program.
Squats
Stand facing forward with your legs wide apart (knees and feet facing forward in a straight line) and well, squat! It’s as simple as it is doing it on the floor. 🙂
This has to be by far my favorite exercise ever on the vibration plate. I love doing squats and i don’t know what it is but it’s so much fun to do on here.
I do 1 minute of squats followed by 30 seconds of rest and repeat till the program ends. So this way you get in A LOT of squats and believe me…your butt and thighs will definitely feel like you’ve had a hard workout!
Overall Thoughts so far…
I’m still really loving the Medicarn Eco Stability Series 400 Vibration Plate. In the last week (now I’ve incorporated some other exercises) I find using this not just to get a good short workout in but I really like to use it to warm up on.
I find after doing 10 minutes on this it gives my body and muscles a good opportunity to warm up and stretch which then makes working out after (with weights) a little easier. Also still getting the happy vibes after using. Win Win!!
My Results So Far… (Feb 3rd – Feb 17th)
The past two weeks has been pretty interesting. Not only have a lost few more inches but I have also gained on my arms and calf muscles (I had thought they were starting to look a little more muscular).
So I’ve lost another 1.2 inches from my hips and also gained 0.5 inches on each calf and 0.3 inches on both arms. Everywhere else has remained the same but looks a lot tighter.
I’m going to be weighing myself for on the 20th so i’ll make sure I include that in the next update.
There are lots more workouts you can do on the Medicarn Eco Stability Series 400 Vibration Plate and I will share some more in a later post.
