Today I want to talk about an incredible nipple cream.
Lansinoh Lanolin is the purest, safest nipple cream and is completely hypoallergenic – great for mothers who suffer from sensitive skin.
It works by creating a moist, wound healing environment for your body to repair itself and because no scab is formed you will heal quicker. More importantly, it provides immediate pain relief for mothers suffering from sore nipples.
You can buy it from Boots, Mothercare, Mamas & Papas, Lloyds Pharmacy, Superdrug, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and John Lewis as well as many online retailers for around £9.95.
how to use it:
– Dry your nipples using a clean cloth. Do not air dry.
– With clean hands, squeeze a pea sized amount of Lansinoh HPA® Lanolin out of the tube and soften it between your fingers.
– Apply it carefully to the entire nipple area. If required, you can apply another small amount into the center of a disposable breast pad.
(Apply Lansinoh HPA Lanolin after each feed or more often if required. Store the tube at room temperature – the higher the temperature the easier the product can be applied.)
what i thought:
Wow! This is wonderful. I haven’t really had problems with sore nipples and I put it down to this stuff. I figured, why wait to see if I get sore when I can use Lansinoh Lanolin to prevent it ever happening. I know it’s only early days as Amelia isn’t even 2 weeks old yet but so far so good! I haven’t had any cracking, bleeding or scabbing.
I love the fact that the cream is thick but not sticky. It doesn’t smell too bad either, not like so many other creams and lotions out there these days.
I will definitely continue to use this cream
