About the Therapearl

The Therapearl in to aid relief for a number of things associated with breastfeeding such as plugged ducts and mastitis. The Therapearl can be used hot or cold and has been specially designed to fit around your breast pump to encourage let down and promote faster milk flow.  It can be used just before breastfeeding when breasts are engorged, and before or during pumping sessions, as the heat encourages let-down and milk flow.  Use Therapearl cold to help provide relief from pain and swelling due to engorgement.  The Therapearl was designed by doctors and is lactation consultant approved.

To use hot all you need to do is place packs in covers and microwave for 15 seconds maximum.  Add more time in 5 seconds increments if needed or to use cold just freeze for at least 2 hours then place into covers before you use them.

Lansinoh® Therapearl° 3-in-1 Breast Therapy should only be applied for 20 minutes. To hold them in place, packs can be placed in a bra.

what I think about the therapearl

This is a truly amazing product. I have been fortunate enough to not have any problems which can occur from breastfeeding but I have been a little tender on days where Amelia has eaten more than usual and these have really helped. Thy are so easy to get ready and then all you need to do is sit back and relax while they get to work.

I also found them really great when I had a bad headache, I just heated one up in the microwave (as I didn’t want something cold) and held it to my head for 10 minutes and my headache was almost gone.
