I think it’s been a while since I last spoken about anything to do with lips and you guys know that they are my favourite kind of product of all time. This brings me to happily say that today is all about the beautiful Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms that I have recently named ‘My Fall Lips’.
Since getting these beauties in the mail a few weeks ago I have worn nothing else on my lips. I am obsessed with them in every sense of the word and well, I just really REALLY like them 🙂
The Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms are like the lip crayon you love the most but on steroids. They are super pigmented and even though they are matte, they are so damn creamy, smooth and lightweight. Just one swipe over the lips and you’ll have a beautiful smooth layer of colour, add another swipe and you can build to a deeper colour till you get the look you’re happy with.
They glide on extremely smoothly without dragging or looking patchy on dry areas. They leave a beautiful velvet-matte finish which is gorgeous. The Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms last for a good few hours on my lips, I would say up to 4 if I don’t eat or drink anything. After that then I need to think about re-applying.
I really like the fact that they are in a retractable style packaging. So much better than one you need to sharpen and thus end up losing product. The packing looks great too. It’s matte but smooth. Almost like a brushed effect where the texture isn’t rubbery.
At just £7.99 the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms come in 14 shades and are available from Boots.
