I like to look after my hair as much as I can, especially after having children as it’s been through a tough time with all the different hormones and shedding.
I was recently contacted by the lovely Lily from Old Wives Tail, a company that specialise in organic hair treatments, all of which are free from sulphates, parabens and gluten. They are also all suitable for vegetarians and vegans and have not been tested on animals (all of this is such a big plus for me).
“Our main lifetime goal is to eradicate animal testing in the beauty industry and 10% of our profits go to charities that save animals from being tested upon”
With an array of luxurious products on offer it was very hard to choose which one I would like to try but I ended up getting the Rosemary and Argan Organic Oil treatment and I’m so glad I did.
The Old Wives Tail Rosemary and Argan Organic Oil treatment, a deeply conditioning and moisturising treatment full of goodness in the form of Argan Oil, Rosemary Leaf Oil, Lavender Oil, Olive Oil and Shea Butter.
“Vitamin E enriched pure organic Argan Oil and Shea Butter is used to smooth and strengthen each and every strand on your head to prevent damage and breakage”
I’ve used the Old Wives Tail Rosemary and Argan Organic Oil treatment about 6 times since receiving it and can hand on heart say that my hair has felt amazing after each use and I swear that my hair has grown more in the past month than it usually would (it’s actually been noticeable to friends and family).
“We have added organic Rosemary Oil to stimulate your scalp and encourage healthy hair growth”
Down to the product itself, firstly it smells amazing. You really get that Rosemary scent coming through and it’s such a relaxing smell (great if you leave the treatment on your hair overnight).
When using the Old Wives Tail Rosemary and Argan Organic Oil treatment you notice it’s a little different than most ‘hair oils’ in that it’s a thick consistency. I really like this though and it kind of reminds me of a cleansing balm for your face. Although thick at first it warms in your hands as you apply it and covers each strand of hair as well as your scalp with all of its delicious oils.
I also found it pretty easy to rinse out, only having to do one round of shampoo to get all of the residue off. I find I don’t’ really need to condition my hair when I use this as it leaves my hair super soft, shiny, manageable and frizz free (what could be better?).
Sounds like a great product right!? Well guess what…it’s only £13.99…WHAT A BARGIN! They also offer free worldwide delivery and have a competition running so check that out while your over there.
