Penhaligons His and Hers Scents for a Special Valentines Gift

February 11, 2014

Penhaligons are known for their beautiful Perfumes and Parfums so I thought with Valentine just around the corner what not better than a gift that a special couple can share?

The Scent Library

The Scent Library for men and women offers the ideal introduction to the Penhaligon’s fragrance range. Each set contains 10 phials in total of Penhaligons best selling scents. 5 for men and 5 for women and all for just £16.

Penhaligons Scent Library

Mens:

Quercus  – Fresh, as warm as Royal Oak; strong, stable and modern.
Sartorial – This skilful reinterpretation of a classic ‘fougère’ is the perfect illusion of a Savile Row workroom.
Blenheim Bouquet  – An English classic, now over 100 years old; fresh gently spiced and very elegant.
Opus 1870  – A complex and elegant woody chypre. Wonderfully warm and comforting.
Endymion  – A study in contrasts; spice and fresh, strong and deep.

Womens:

Artemisia  – Subtle and warm; nectarine, jasmine, tea and lily over precious woods and amber.
Lily of the Valley  – Fresh, green, delicate; the perfume of innocence and love.
Malabah – Exotic, cool and confident, for the born traveller; spices, lush flowers, precious woods, zingy top notes.
Ellenisia – An extravagant floral with armfuls of heady white blooms wrapped in a sweet plum and vanilla.
Bluebell – The pure and unadulterated scent of a bluebell wood; floral, sweet and wonderfully earthy.

Penhaligons Scent Library

Such an amazing range of scents for both men and women in this set. It’s very much worth picking up if your not to sure on which of the Penhaligons fragrances you like.

I also think that you could add in a little candle as an extra sweet gift.

How about the Elixir candle

Scented with hot spices, green eucalyptus, turkish rose and jasmine combined with incense and woods to create a heady fragrance perfect for the colder winter months.

“Our soy wax comes from a renewable source, soybean oil. It lasts up to 50% longer than traditional waxes. Using soy wax means the melting point of the candle is lowered so the candle burns slightly cooler and the scent is not compromised by the heat and disperses better into the room.”

This beautiful candle is £32 but don’t let that put you off. It’s more than worth it as a thoughtful gift. I love the black tumbler and the packaging alone is just WOW! How beautiful is the design on the box?! You really need to have this candle in your hands to appreciate it, the scent is fonominal!! So musky and dark yet romantic – it’s definitely the perfect Valentine’s candle.
