I love a nice bit of colour on my cheeks and lips so as soon as I saw the Soap and Glory Cheekmate I was pretty much in love. With summer nearing closer to us this is definitely going to become a staple in my mostly everyday makeup routine.
I’ve tried other cheek and lip stains before and have found them to either be really watery or way to thick and sticky. This one on the other hand is just about perfect. It’s super easy to blend out and doesn’t go streaky or weird looking. I really couldn’t hope for a better consistency.

The pigmentation is AWESOME and gives such a beautiful rosy glow with the smallest amount of product (it really is highly pigmented). When applied to the cheeks the texture almost changes and rather than looking like you’ve slapped or painted something onto your skin it kind of melt onto the surface and leaves an amazing flushed look (like going for a run without getting sweaty).
It is also really wonderful on the lips, just like you’re wearing a nice matt-ish lipstick and it has pretty good staying power when you eat and drink. It’s also really buildable so if you looking for more of a statement then just add another layer, just don’t go over the top (no-one likes to look like a clown do they)

Great post! I like wearing it on my lips too. So many people go on about how i doesnt stay on long but it really stains mine and lasts a good 8 hours! xx
