One of my favourite things about summer is wearing beautiful products on my lips and today I want to share what ‘ve got ready in my makeup bag for when the sun is shining.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Finish Lip Color

Bobbi Brown’s iconic Lip Colour has been made even better! With 12 new shades being added to the collection they’ll be no stopping you from having beautiful summer lips.

The Bobbi Brown Shimmer Finish Lip Color combines high shine emollients and light reflective pearls for a beautiful multi-dimensional yet soft finish. They have a lovely golden sparkle which looks in the sunshine. It’s not at all frosty, just very shimmery.

These feel simply wonderful on the lips. Full of Shea Butter and Muru Muru Butter they are super moisturising and conditioning and glide on ever so smoothly. The shimmery particles aren’t drying in anyway and you can’t feel them in he lipstick.

With other lips products of this style I find they can wear off pretty quickly but with only 2 swipes over my lips I didn’t have to reapply for  3-4 hours (which I think is awesome). When the lipstick does wear off it does leave a lot of the gold shimmer but I quite like that and think it looks really pretty.

I also really like the packaging, it’s sleek and looks very expensive.

Nectar & Nude Lip Gloss

You may have heard about the new Nectar & Nude Collection. I’m so glad they have added two new colours to the Lip Glosses to go with the collection (Nude Pink and Nectar)

The Bobbi Brown Lip Glosses are formulated with soothing botanical extracts – including Avocado, Jojoba and Chamomile Oils, and Aloe Extract – to keep lips soft and supple. I can’t agree with this enough. My lips always feel soft after I’ve been wearing this for the day.

The texture is really nice,  its very smooth and not at all sticky. It’s moisturising like the lipstick and has great staying power,  lasting for a good 3 hours before I need to top up.

They are also very delicately but beautifully scented with a hint of Vanilla (you’ve got to love a yummy scented lip gloss right!)
