You may have seen on my Instagram that the wonderful people over the theBalm sent me a lovely package of products to try out. Boy was I excited what they arrived and I can happily say that I’m just as excited to use them today as I was then.
Up today is theBalm Meet Matte Nude Eyeshadow Palette, what a handsome palette he is! Literally filled (with 9 large) matte shades from pale to dark and with some blue, purple, pink and yellow thrown in for good measure. Very different than ‘most nude palettes’ – in a good way.
Matt Johnson: Charcoal Grey/Blue
Matt Garcia: Rich Chocolate Brown/Red
Matt Malloy: Soft White
Matt Rosen: Warm Cinnamon Brown
Matt Wood: Dark Rspresso
Matt Singh: Dusky Rose Pink
Matt Abdul: Cool Toned Taupe/Grey
Matt Lombardi: Sandy yellow/Beige
Matt Hung: Midium Purple Taupe
Every shade in the palette is extremely pigmented and has a love smooth buttery texture which makes them really easy to work with. You can use them wet or dry to get your most desired effect and they are all very buildable.
I know some people don’t like the cardboard-y packaging but I actually love it. It’s simple and easy to use, lightweight to carry, It has a great sized mirror which is really clear. Of course all the cute images, quotes and wording are all just fab too.
