I was recently asked if I would do a review of The Tiny Love Gymini Animal Concert so here we go.
I know a lot of people have their own views on if you should use play mats or not so I just want to start by saying:
{I’m not one to leave a baby on a play mat for hours nor do I like leaving them on their backs staring up at the ceiling for a long time. However Amelia loves this and it gives me the few minutes I need to get a few things done plus a small amount of time for baby’s to lay on their backs and have some tummy time is good for them.}
I love how bright and colourful the Animal Concert Gymini is, all of the hanging toys are super cute and it’s a really nice sized pay mat.
The Animal Concert include 6 detachable hanging toys: A Mirror, Musical Note Teether, Sheep, Dog, Guitar and Wind Chime which all do different things, providing lots of stimulation for babies. There is also a baby-activated lights and music touch pad area.
The Animal Concert Gymini is so easy to put together, just pull it out of the box, attach the two bars and toys then your ready to go. You can clip the edges of the play mat up to make an enclosure for when baby starts of roll which is think is a wonderful idea. (luke used to roll off of his constantly when he was a baby) The only thing I don’t like is that it’s quite thin so we always have a normal play mat underneath as we have wooden floors.
It can also be used without the toy bars when baby can sit up which is great when you want something you can take out with you.
Amelia has lots of fun while she is on the mat, she loves the little sheep and the wind chime and will spend the whole time rattling it. We often give her the toys to play with when she isn’t on the mat. She loves having tummy time of the mat too, especially when she looks at herself in the mirror.
Luke loves playing with this too, but his way is to drive his cars up and down the toy bars and pretend they roads.
