Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Nourishing Lipglosses w/swatches

February 14, 2014

Don’t you just love getting naked??

It’s that time of year when Urban Decay entices us with new products and I’ll let you into a little secret – once again, they are awesome!!! Ok, so that’s not really a secret is it. The words have just about been on every beauty bloggers lips (lips, do you get it).

In these colder winter months my lips tend to get a little dry however much lip balm or lip treatment I use so I’m loving giving these beauts a go. So far so good!

As usual with Urban Decay, the packaging is very pretty, these are a lovely rose gold with “NAKED” cut-out on the side. The smallest part of each tube left clear so you can see the colour of the gloss – I think it’s a wonderful touch! You can also see the shade through the “NAKED” cut-out. From looking at them you’d think they cost a lot more than their £14 price tag.

On the inside, the little flocked paddle applicator is shaped perfectly to smooth on the somewhat thick but lightweight gloss to give just the right amount of coverage. The gloss is not just thick but also very creamy and gives a high gloss finish. For the consistency theres no stickiness in sight – BIG plus I think!

The Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Nourishing Lipglosses themselves are packed full with Hyaluronic filling spheres, there’s also vitamin A, C and E, avocado oil, shea butter and rosehip seed oil to hydrate and condition your lips while leaving them looking plump and kissable. Plus you won’t find any baddies such as Parabens, Sulfates or Phthalates in any of these glosses.

Although they all look subtle colour they are highly pigmented. As I said before, there are nine new shades and they are:

Walk of Shame (pale nude/pink with shimmer)
Nooner (light neutral nude)
Naked (nude/pink with pearl)
Love Child (medium pink)
Liar (soft mauve pink)
Streak (coral)
Beso (deep cool pink)
Rule34 (brown/nude)
Freestyle (shimmery nude)

Here are the three that I’ve tried:

Definitely a fan of nakedness 🙂 These all look awesome, just to choose which ones to buy without accidently buying them all.

I love a good ‘nude’ lipgloss – these are all so up my street! They are a little pricey but I could buy myself a few ( it is Valentine’s Day after all 🙂 ) Lovely post!

Love the packaging, it’s really beautiful. Think they would look amazing in a clutch n a special night out! Though the price would put my off but after using Urban Decay products for the last 6 months or so I know how long they last and also how great the quality it.
