Yes guys, more lipsticks! Although in all fairness it has been nearly two months since I’ve spoken about any on here. It’s also been a darn long time since I’ve spoken about Urban Decay and now the two can mix perfectly into this little post of mine.
Urban Decay has recently released a new line of lipsticks known as Sheer Revolution and although the whole sheer lipstick thing has been done many times these really are a revolution. It’s time to forget the sheep lipsticks that are so light on the lips they’re basically not there at all. I mean some I have I can’t even see on my lips!
With the new Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipsticks we get the same creamy and buttery lip hugging texture as the oh so loved Revolution Lipsticks but now we also get a sheer yet shiny gloss of colour that is still pigmented to extremes.
Full of awesome ingredients such as Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Babassu Oil and Vitamins C and E, they are super nourishing on the lips and provide a wave on antioxidants. If that didn’t sound good enough, they’re even infused with Maxi-Lip technology which helps to define and hydrate the lips while also making them look plumper and fuller and even more kissable.
With that crazy good list of ingredients it’s not hard to see how these lovely lippies are so comfortable to wear. They are hydrating and softening. They smooth over the lips and cover fine lines leaving lips look irresistible.
Just like their older brother, the Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipsticks reside inside the lovely unique packaging yet this time around they are a pale purple rather than the gunmetal colour I have to love so much. Don’t worry, they are still gorgeous and in the words of me, they ‘scream to be touched’.
There are 10 shades to choose from and they stand at £15.50 each. For those of you that love to know lipstick shades, here they are:
Walk Of Shame is a pale nude/pink.
Liar is a pinky/brown.
Rapture is a dusty rose/pink.
Obsessed is a baby pink.
Streak is a coral/pink.
Anarchy is a fuchsia.
Slowburn is an orange/red.
Ladyflower is a rose/pink.
F-Bomb is a red.
Shame is a berry.
Out of the ten shades above I have been trying out 4 (Walk of Shame, Obsessed, Slowburn and Ladyflower). I really like all of them equally. None of them lack in pigmentation or staying power. They all feel great on the lips and above all they all look great with my skin tone.
