Urban Decay has graced the pages on my blog many times. It’s one of those brands that I can’t live without and one that I am more than happy to have in my top 5 brands of all time. You guys know just how much I love and rave about their lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes. Can you guess how much excitement it brings me to be holding 5 of the new Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks? A hella-lot I tell you!!
The recent Urban Decay launch has Bloggers, YouTubers, Instagrammers, Makeup Artists, makeup lovers, the everyday woman and her dog up in hysterics. With a launch as big and beautiful as this one it’s pretty easy to see why people are falling over themselves about these new lippies.
The new Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks come in 100 (yes you heard me right, 100) shades which are split between 6 different formula finishes: Mega Matte (a super intense matte), Comfort Matte (a creamy matte), Cream (the original creamy formula), Metallized (cream with a pearl finish), Sheer (a sheer, shiny finish), and Sheer Shimmer (a transparent finish with pearl).
As I mentioned, I have 5 of the 100 shades.
From left to right: Backtalk – Comfort Matte, Big Bang – Metallized, 714 – Mega Matte, Firebird – Cream, Pandemonium -Mega Matte.
Can I get a HELL YEAH for all that lipstick goodness? You know you want to!
Just like their older brothers and sisters, the Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks pack a punch in the colour department. They are all super pigmented and glide onto the lip in a smooth and agile swipe (even the Mega Mattes). They feel creamy on the lips and wear incredibly comfortably with a whopping longevity to boot.
They are formulated with amazing lip-loving ingredients such as aloe vera, jojoba, avocado and abassu oils for softening loveliness and illipe butter, vitamin C and vitamin E for long-lasting moisture. These little pretties don’t just look good on the lips, they do good for them too.
One thing you’ll notice as being a little different with these lipsticks is the packaging. Gone is the long based bullet. Residing in its place is now a gorgeous gold base underneath the oh so familiar faceted gunmetal lid.
