I don’t think I’ve ever really talked about it but Will and I have always had a love for candles, there is nothing better than snuggling up on the sofa to watch a movie with the soft glow and delicious smell or a candle or two. We always have to have a candle burning in the house.

With that said, I want to share a company with you that sells some of the most amazing candles I have ever used. Village Candles sent us a selection of candles to try out, William chose the first one we were going to use, he went for the Vanilla Caramel Swirl which is a mix of Madagascar Vanilla swirled into warm and delicious caramel and oh my goodness it is heavenly! I must admit that it is one of the super sweet/sickly scents but it’s still not over the top, to me it’s a little like sticking your face into a tub of caramel ice cream – YUMMY!

Village Candles round candles have two wicks which is wonderful for providing the perfect glow. The two wicks also mean you get a cleaner more even burn plus it helps to release even more of the amazing scent from your candle.

Village Candles are highly scented in a natural way (none of the candles we received have that horrid fake smell) they are also all  richly coloured. The current range has over 40 different fragrances in 4 categories – Florals, Baked Goods, Outdoors and Fruits, these all come in a variety of shapes and sizes such as  jars (3 sizes available), votives, simmers. All candle jars come complete with a FREE air freshener.

One of the best things about these candles…the burn time!! The largest jar you can get had a burn time of 170 hours on average which I think is phenomenal. All the candles sent to us are 11 oz candles, we are still using the first one we tried and have used it so for for about 40 hours and it’s only gone down by about 2cm so they really do last for a long long time.

– Lemon Peel ( Lemon Zest, Grapefruit and Pineapple with notes of Vanilla )
– Sun Splash ( Sugared Lemon and juicy Orange )
